DJ Moby is selling one of his homes to help animal rights campaigns.
He has listed a home he owns in rural New York state for sale at $1.3 million.
On July 24, Moby, 52, shared photos of the property on Instagram said he was putting it on the market because “to support progressive political candidates, support my animal rights foundation, produce documentaries, and fund scholarships.”
The DJ and producer only purchased the two-bedroom residence in March and paid $1.24 million for it.
The 3,162-square-foot home sits on a little under two acres in the community of Pound Ridge. The property, built in 1956, has a total of eight rooms over two levels and the grounds include gardens and a pool.
The interiors feature slate and wood floors along with paneled walls and large windows. The living and dining area has a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows offering woodland views.
The kitchen boasts marble counter tops and stainless steel backsplashes. There’s also a den and a gym.
