A PUPPY born in with his front paws facing up instead of down has had elbow surgery to help him walk. The 10-week-old puppy named Milo is now recovering after the successful operation in the US.
Milo, a part beagle, part coonhound, had pins inserted into his elbows to realign the joints.
An animal rescue group took Milo to medics after he was born with the unusual condition.
Jennie Hays, of the nonprofit Oliver and Friends Farm Sanctuary, said Milo was doing very well and is a “very happy puppy.” Dr. Erik Clary from Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Services said Friday that he is pleased with Milo’s progress.
