SINGER Miley Cyrus has adopted a new dog in order to help one of the many animals left homeless during the coronavirus pandemic.
The pop star picked up a Shepard mix called Bo as Many as many families are surrendering their pets to shelters after losing jobs and being left unable to afford them.
Many shelters are also closing because of strict orders for only essential businesses to operate.
New owners are being told there is no risk in taking home a new animal.
Cats and dogs are not carriers of coronavirus and therefore cannot spreading the disease.
The Wrecking Ball singer seemed smitten with Bo, whose name was inspired by a nickname dad Billy Ray had in high school.
